I moved the Jetson to the computer in the corner. The instructions I read off Marley’s journal were accurate and did lead me to finding success in operating the Jetson and the ZED camera. However, I could not run the application ‘ZedFU’. I opened the app but it would not show anything past the first screen. I am not sure if this is by design or if something was missing, but this was the only problem I had using the Jetson or ZED camera.

I was able vaguely to scan using the ZED camera. I got a brief scan of the room, however there was little depth and little color differentiation.

I am having trouble making meshes. There is a mesh on the computer containing a scan of almost the whole WISRD room, which looks nothing like the meshes I have been producing. Additionally, when I am done scanning, my meshes will shrink.

After I read Marley’s most recent journal entry, my goal was to enhance color on meshes that did not have much color and to get them into a blender file. I learned how to enhance and colorize meshes that are gray and don’t have enough color using 3d viewer. I was able to import them into the blender app, but they were still colorless. This will be my goal for March 24th.

My goal for today was to learn how to alter colors and mold shapes. I achieved that, as I fiddled a bit with Blender and figured out how to alter colors and mold shapes.

Marley, Sam and Max were able to get some good scans of the gallery, which they imported onto a public folder. From this, I was able to import them into Blender.

I played around with the ZED Camera but was unable to get the kind of scans my group mates were able to.

I learned how to edit and shape down these scans using Blender.

I edited more scans from my group-mates.

I played with Blender and learned to import objects off the internet by downloading them as .obj files.
