OCULUS

Overview:

I am investigating the development of Virtual Reality games across multiple game engines on the Windows platform. Using Unity 3D (version 5.0), the Oculus Rift plugin allows quick and easy game development. Through the Unity 3D game development tool, I will explore the rending capabilities when it comes to VR gaming and learning the in’s and out’s of that type of game development.

Plans:

I plan to develop immersive VR games that draw the player into an intriguing world that amazes everyone who plays the game. As difficult as that might sound, using the VR system gives any game that “wow” factor.

In the future, I also want to investigate VR game development using the CryENGINE but until we obtain this program, I am going to be sticking to Unity 3D.
