Statement of interest, Spring 2024: (from institute application): I would like to Join WISRD because I am a student thats works well with structure and I know that is something that WISRD has, provided that you have a project. For a project I would like to try and find a way to incorporate cars which I have a passion for into a business. I think that doing something in the realm of a car body kit would be inserting and taking a year to do the R&D required to make a product in WIRSD then in conjunction with WIE in senior as a second elective to sell the product and maybe making it into a brand could be interesting. Some of the steps I would take upon acceptance at the beginning of the year would be doing research into materials, creating a way to test a product on a small cost-effective scale, and then start to make a product once I have a more clear direction. also have said this if I am interested in other projects int he class I am open to joining them as-well.
