This week marks my first week participating in the WISRD elective. Before I had ever been in a class, I was a bit confused on what WISRD actually was. But now that I have had multiple classes, I am starting to understand what WISRD really is. WISRD is not a class in which the teacher gives you a curriculum to follow all year. Instead, a student has the freedom to build off of what they are interested in. WISRD is very student run. Instead of asking questions and expecting others to answer them for you, find the answer to something you’re curios in yourself through experiments and research. WISRD is what you make it.
