Posters for Fall 22 and Spring 23
Despite the website being down for half of this academic year, much progress was made on my project this year. Click the icon to read the posters for the WISRD Physiology Group this year, as well as posters from past years.

SOLAR_ECLIPSE
We have four labs we are running for the solar eclipse. Abraham, Cesar, Bob, and I have been working the past several weeks to build the equipment we will need.
Study of VLF (very low frequency) and LF (low frequency) wave propagation during an eclipse (Lead: Abraham Bradley, J.A. Wise, R Baker)
Cosmic Ray detection before, during, and after the eclipse Lead: Cesar Diaz, R Baker, J.A. Wise)
HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS ACROSS THE US WILL MEASURE COSMIC RAY RATES DURING THE AUGUST 21, 2017 SOLAR ECLIPSE. HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS ACROSS THE US ARE DESIGNING AND CONSTRUCTING APPARATUSES BASED ON THEIR QUARKNET COSMIC RAY DETECTORS IN ORDER TO MEASURE COSMIC RAY RATES DURING THE AUGUST 21, 2017 SOLAR ECLIPSE. THEIR FIRST GOAL IS TO DETERMINE IF THE SUN IS A SOURCE OF COSMIC RAY MUONS DETECTED AT THE SURFACE OF EARTH. THE GROUPS WILL ALSO MAP OUT THE MUON RATE IN DIRECTIONS NEAR THE SUN FROM DIFFERENT US LOCATIONS IN ORDER TO SEARCH FOR SMALL CHANGES.
