Posters for Fall 22 and Spring 23
Despite the website being down for half of this academic year, much progress was made on my project this year. Click the icon to read the posters for the WISRD Physiology Group this year, as well as posters from past years.

STRESS_STUDY
Overview: I am conducting research on what stresses students out the most at Wildwood? Aside from obvious stressors like homework and tests, I want to find what stresses people out in our school. I am looking at stress from the physiological manifestations of it rather than testing for chemicals that require lengthy lab down times to yield results.
Plans: I have a video of a walk through the school which is shown to test subjects. Their vitals such as heart rate, skin temperature, blood pressure and skin conductivity are all measured. Heart rate is measured with an EKG, skin temperature with a skin temperature probe, blood pressure with a blood pressure cuff and skin conductivity with a hacked conductivity sensor. I then look for correlation between increased vitals and different parts of the video to find what stresses out most students.
